Webster board addresses May Street Park overrun and approves budgets. The Board of Selectmen unanimously increased the Recreation Revolving Fund by $66,000 to cover a $91,000 cost overrun at May Street Park caused by unexpected foundation removal and ledge work. Finance Director Timothy Bell explained the unforeseen costs had been absorbed by the revolving fund.
The board unanimously recommended FY2027 budgets and town meeting articles, including bylaws on cistern requirements for large subdivisions and local drone operation enforcement, presented by Fire Chief Jeffrey Saad and Police Chief Michael Shaw.
