Webster Board of Library Trustees approves FY 2027 budget with five percent reduction. Director Sondra Murphy reported that the Materials Line absorbed most of the cut, with dedicated trust funds covering the shortfall. The board unanimously approved closure on Martin Luther King Jr.

Day and unanimously backed an EBSCO Solar Grant application for roof panels. The library has received its first state aid allotment and a bequest from the Estate of Richard J. Edmonston of Auburn, Massachusetts.
