Library Trustees Approve Solar Proposal, Building Upgrades

WEBSTER — Library Trustees approve solar and facilities investment. The Webster Board of Library Trustees unanimously approved a $56,000 solar installation proposal from East Coast Renewable Energy for presentation to Town Administrator Rick LaFond and authorized $3,000 from the building improvement trust fund for chair upholstery replacement. The board approved facility upgrade priorities including modular furniture for the children's craft room, a new tween space, and dishwasher installation, and updated community spaces policy to allow fee-based usage of The Nest.
Director Sondra Murphy is pursuing multiple grants totaling at least $20,000 for story walks and community programming.
