SWCCC Board Approves FY2027 Level-Service Budget
SWCCC Board of Directors · Meeting of February 3, 2026
Webster dispatch center approves level-service FY2027 budget, reserves flexibility for state 911 funding. The South Worcester County Communications Center Board of Directors unanimously backed the budget proposal with no new positions and fixed cost increases only, holding the Communications Center Director salary at the 85th to 90th percentile of regional survey standards. Director Gregory Lynskey noted the $305,000 reserve fund could offset local appropriations if state 911 funding remains level.
The board also approved $8,500 in budget transfers, $3,500 for dispatcher fire training and $5,000 for part-time staffing, and accepted the resignation of per-diem dispatcher Rebecca Prefontaine.
