Board of Selectmen · Meeting of February 9, 2026
Webster Selectmen approve $3.1M bond with maintained AA rating. The Board approved closing documents for a $3.135 million general obligation bond after Fidelity won competitive bidding among nine proposals; Standard and Poor's maintained the town's AA rating, reflecting strong reserves and solid financial policies. Town Administrator Richard LaFond reported the Governor's proposed local aid package has reduced the town's FY 2027 budget deficit through increased Chapter 70 education aid.
