Webster Library Board names community room for Senator Moore

Webster Board of Library Trustees unanimously dedicates community room to Senator Moore. The board voted to name the library's Community Room the Senator Richard T. Moore Room, honoring his efforts to secure 75 percent state funding for the library's construction.
The trustees unanimously approved spending $6,079 from trust funds for 16 replacement Study Room chairs. The Friends of the Library approved a $5,200 allocation for a children's author visit by Jerry Craft, plus $2,500 for dyslexia-friendly materials and craft-room furnishings. Library attendance surged by more than 2,000 visitors in March compared to the prior year.
