Webster Library Trustees elect new officers, extend free card eligibility to out-of-state college students. The board unanimously elected Susan Veshi as Chair, Rena Klebart as Vice Chair, Jeanne Mikels as Secretary, and Martina Koziak as Treasurer. Trustees voted unanimously to amend the library card policy to grant free cards to out-of-state students attending Massachusetts colleges and universities.
Director Sondra Murphy reported that author R.F. Kuang's One Book, One Community talk drew 167 in-person attendees and 100 online viewers, with the board receiving a $10,000 grant from the Malser Humanities Trust to support the initiative.
