Board of Selectmen · Meeting of June 22, 2026

WEBSTER — The Webster Board of Selectmen approved an indoor-only entertainment license for the restaurant Dockside and put off outdoor music decisions. Members voted 4-0 by roll call to close the hearing, then approved indoor entertainment Monday through Saturday until 11 p.m., excluding Sundays, deferring outdoor deck and gazebo music to the board's July 13 meeting. Co-owner Chad Goslin said bands would wrap up by "9 p.m., maybe 10" outdoors, but residents like Cedar Drive's Mike said "my house still vibrates from the music" and described unticketed illegal parking along Birch Island and Cedar drives.

Selectman Scott Dziedzic said he was "looking at more limited" nights rather than nightly entertainment. A separate one-day outdoor permit for the town's July 2 fireworks was withdrawn after disagreement over hours and licensing history.
