Board of Selectmen · Meeting of July 13, 2026

Webster selectmen approved reduced entertainment hours for lakefront bar Dockside after disclosed violations. The Board of Selectmen voted 4-0 to license Island Road Dockside LLC for acoustic music, bongos allowed but no drums, indoors and outdoors, cutting its requested noon-to-11-p.m., seven-day schedule to noon-to-8-p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon-to-5-p.m.

Sunday. Attorney Nick Adamopoulos disclosed that jukebox music had played outside the building and an unauthorized indoor performance had been advertised in the prior two weeks, saying "there's two instances that borderline — one was a clear violation." The license requires a parking attendant on Fridays and Saturdays and ties renewal to compliance with the town's 100-yard noise bylaw. Selectmen also appointed Michael Snow to the Planning Board and authorized a state water-system loan application.
