Webster Planning Board continued the Dunkin' signage hearing to Feb. 23 and closed the Beacon Street auto body hearing. Members questioned the directional signs proposed for 128-138 East Main Street, and one member called the initial count "a bit excessive." Sean Donovan of Poyant Signs offered to change the copy to "enter" and "exit" and to shrink the wall sign, which he estimated at nine square feet or less against a 24-square-foot maximum. Members asked for a table of sign sizes and lighting.
The board closed the hearing on the 1 Beacon Street shop after town engineer Chuck Eaton's letter showed no outstanding engineering comments. It also continued three more hearings to Feb. 23, and staff said a small industrial-zone project was constructively approved after a missed deadline.
