WEBSTER — The Webster Zoning Board of Appeals approved a variance for a new single-family home at 7 Indian Point Road on a 4-0 vote, with one abstention. The board required at least two paved parking spaces outside the home and capped the structure's height at 25 feet from the property's lowest point. Director of Planning and Economic Development Joseph Wigglesworth was authorized to sign the decision.
Member Jeff Czechowski pushed for the parking condition, saying "I really think we need to be asking for two spots outside." Candace Shivers abstained on each finding tied to the case. The board also closed hearings on a garage and carport variance at 13 Cedar Point Road and a special permit for a larger garage at 84 Union Point Road, continuing both decisions to its June 2 meeting.
