Conservation · Meeting of August 17, 2026
Webster Conservation Commission approves new Lakeside Ave home after stream and debris review. The board voted 4-0 to approve WB Legere Properties' new single-family house at 20 Lakeside Ave, where Conservation Agent Richard Parent found dumped construction debris near a perennial stream and said "this is not tolerable in and around the wetland." Representative Glenn Kravosky of EBT Environmental Consultants committed to removing the material and installing a 37-foot bottomless culvert without altering the stream's course, prompting abutter Michael Carsten to confirm, "You're not going to change the course of the stream, correct?" The board separately approved an after-the-fact amendment at 270 Kildeer Road letting owner Wayne Hay expand his house footprint and keep a lakeside retaining wall built off the original plan, and cleared a deck and wall repair at 200 Kildeer Road. Two hearings, at 114 Point Breeze Road and 25 Bates Grove Road, were continued to August 31 for missing state permit numbers.
