Webster Conservation Commission approved a Cedar Point Road garage and retaining wall project.
Conservation · Meeting of February 17, 2026
Webster Conservation Commission approved a Cedar Point Road garage and retaining wall project. The commission voted without opposition to approve the 13 Cedar Point Road plan, DEP file 323-1305, with conditions requiring a written construction sequence and a signed letter of neighbor permission for erosion controls. Engineer Stephen Balsowich said seven trees would be replaced and roof runoff sent to recharge chambers.
Commissioners also issued a negative determination with stormwater conditions for a second-story addition at 24 Point Pleasant Road, and continued seven other items to March 2, including 43 Colonial Road, which cannot close without a state file number. The commission accepted its 2026 goals, and Robin Jewell volunteered for a Community Preservation Act exploratory group.
