Zoning Board · Meeting of January 6, 2026

Webster ZBA continued the 11 Pavilion Ave rebuild hearing to Feb. 3. The Zoning Board of Appeals held a public hearing on a special permit to demolish a dilapidated single-family house on Birch Island and build a new one. Jim Sullivan, speaking for the applicant, said the lot is about 4,150 square feet with about 1,200 square feet of floor area.

Members asked for architectural elevations and discussed a height condition of 29 or 31 feet, noting the town has no height limit short of three stories. A member said the board has until March 4 to decide. The continuance passed on a four-member roll call, with Kathleen Dimmich Mahaffy appointed to the application after a member recused as an abutter.
